Working the ComProp Magic
Category Life & Style
Ballito is on a fast-track growth trajectory that is bucking the current economic trend. New developments are being innovatively marketed by a dynamic team at ComProp, one of the regions most successful commercial and industrial property brokers and they have been achieving surprising results. Evidence of this can be seen in the Ballito Business Park where a new development, The Quarter, is going up in record time due to an innovative tilt-up construction method. While the shell of the construction nears completion, ComProp is busy confirming the final list of tenants that have been clamouring to secure space in what will no doubt be a popular retail activity zone.
The Quarter opens for business in December and offers the public an exciting combination of attractions including a popular restaurant, an art gallery, a dance studio, IT training school, beauty, clothing, decor outlets and more to be revealed in Life & Style soon so watch this space as the saying goes!
What makes The Quarter such an appealing proposition is its convenient location close to the N2 highway, three hotels and the Ballito Lifestyle Centre, its complementary tenant mix and very attractive rental rates allowing businesses to establish themselves in a relatively turbulent economy.
To achieve this “fully let” status before the building formally existed, required some innovative marketing, something that ComProp is renowned for. Louise Gibson and Raelene Stefano have worked hard to establish a regular flow of media releases and marketing material to position the development firmly on the radar of prospective tenants both locally and further afield. This is reflected in the tenant mix. Their pre-launch party for prospective tenants offering incentives to encourage early commitment to the project was particularly successful. And this combination of hard work and innovative marketing continues to pay dividends.
The ComProp team has almost fully let the next development that they have been working on as well. Autodromo Monza is being positioned as Ballito’s auto repair centre and there is little doubt that it will be fully let shortly. Tenants such as Hi-Q, ACD Workshop, Midas Ballito, Bosch, RTI Testing Station as well as Mark’s Auto. All of these tenants are established businesses which are opening new branches in the Ballito area.
Most recently the ComProp team has turned their attention on Ballito Services Park North and you can read more about this exciting commercial opportunity in the property section of Life & Style.
