BALLITO – A SEASON OF CHANGE
As The Byrd’s once said; “to everything there is a season”, and as we all know every season brings change. ComProp welcomes change - within our company and within the town of Ballito.
We have seen a great deal of change in the “small” holiday town we used to know, which up until a few weeks ago only had 1 set of robots, and now boasts a major interchange with no less than 4 new sets of robots. Ballito has grown and matured over the past 10 years to the extent that we can boast a 2nd generation Nando’s, not to mention our flagship Woolworths food store at the Lifestyle Centre. And that’s not all – Virgin Active Gym will be opening in September, and Mc Donald’s is scheduled to open before Easter 2015. By March 2017 the planned R1.4b extension to Ballito Junction will be completed, transforming the centre into a 65 000m2 mega-mall, housing cinemas, national and line brands.
As ComProp continues to grow, we are expanding our geographical footprint to include Zululand as well as touching on the Durban area. Jenna Venter, our Sales and Rentals manager recently moved up north to join the farming community in Kwambonambi. This means that she will be more involved in projects up north covering the areas of Richards Bay, Empangeni and Eshowe.
ComProp now welcomes a new broker to the Ballito team, Jody Cameron, who has specialised in commercial property in Umhlanga and expanded her network to the greater Durban area as well as brokering locally in Ballito. We also welcome Natalie Sykes, who recently took up the challenge of an administration, social media and liaison role within the company.
